Great Cardinals fan tattoos
Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh(notes) is about as lithe as NBA players come. The skinny All-Star doesn’t seem to boast a whole lot of real estate when it comes to tattoo-able acreage, and yet he’s still managed to shove a good 20 years’ worth of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally tats into one massive back tattoo.
Yikes. There is, um, quite a bit going on in that one. A picture of Chris taking in his ink follows the jump.
There is a lockout in our midst, so we shouldn’t blame the rich and bored for acting rich and bored. And assaulting your skin with a series of tats is a heck of a lot better than following up a 12-donut breakfast with a three-burrito lunch, as we saw from several NBA players during the 1998-99 lockout.
So ink away, Chris. From sport.yahoo.com
Oklahoma City Thunder forwardKevin Durant(notes) is typically considered to be one of the most likable players in the NBA, a humble kid who just happens to be blessed with unreal ability on the court. For a league with past stars like Allen Iverson(notes)that rubbed some fans the wrong way, Durant represents someone with broad appeal. Oh, and it’s also commonly believed that he has no tattoos, if that matters to you.
It turns out that last part isn’t entirely accurate. As you can see in the photo above, taken during a recent promotional trip to China, Durant’s torso is covered in ink (via TBJ). Like most of today’s NBA players, he likes tattoos. Unlike them, he doesn’t get them on parts of the body that can be seen easily while he plays basketball.
After the jump, check out the first hint we got of Durant’s tattoos in a photo from Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals vs. theMemphis Grizzlies. From the looks of things, he’s added at least one tattoo since then. READ THE REST HERE ON YAHOO
How are you spending your summer?
The NFL lockout has prevented Packers players from receiving their Super Bowl rings in a public ceremony or making the customary trip to the White House. Getting tatted up with the former is one way to solve that problem. READ THE REST HERE ON YAHOO
